KS1 Exhibition 2020

Thank you to our parents and carers who came to the KS1 exhibition. The children thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their Art and Design Technology work that they created throughout the term.

 

 

World Book Day 2020

Lots of our parents and carers joined their children for stories in school!

  

KS1 ARTWORK. The KS1 children have used the technique of weaving to create these beautiful pieces of art.

 

Theatre Royal Trip- The whole school were lucky enough to watch a fantastic performance of The Elves and The Shoemaker.

 

 

 

Christmas Art Afternoon and Display Boards - our parents and carers joined the children for an afternoon of crafts, helping to create our lovely festive display boards.

 

Christmas Lunch - the children loved their Christmas Lunch especially as it was served to them by all the school staff!

 

 The Great Fire of London - as part this term's topic, Year 1 and 2 created their own cardboard houses and the Fire Officers from Crownhill Fire Station came along to set fire to our mini-London before extinguishing it for us! It was very exciting for the children.

 

New books! Here are the books we purchased with the commission from the recent Book Bus and also the donations from our mufti day. As always, thank you for your support!

 

School Council - introducing our new School Council members! They are busy planning our fundraising activities for Children in Need!

 

KS1 showcased their firework inspired poems in an open mic style performance using expression and hand gestures.

 

Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal - our Military Minis have been busy preparing for the annual Poppy Appeal!

 

Book Bus - the Book People's 'Book Bus' visited us on 16th October. The children really enjoyed going onto the bus and looking at all the fantastic books onboard!

 Toddler Group - each week, we hold a Toddler Group at Plaistow Hill. This is open to all the community.
